I liked the rodeo weblock, he is neat, light and what u have expected tho overpriced. BTW, I think that a wire for securing the pin can be nice.
I am quite sure it is possible to design something cheaper, with lower mbs, we don't need that much (BTW I am mechanical engineer)
But honestly, I was disappointed bcz of the steel carabiner. Why steel??? It should be light as possible, and he weight more then the whole kit together.
Best regards, carmel
Hey Carmel, thanks a lot for your feedback. Yes, the RODEO could even be lighter - but at raed we prefer a higher safety margin, since we know our customers also like to use such a weblock in regular park lines. The biner is a steely, because alu biners are known to fail under cyclic loads. You could exchange it for a soft shackle, if you'd like to go lighter. Keep the balance :)
Love my new rodeo line. Helium webbing is great for walking on as 40 m (long) line and swinging as rodeo at 10 m. Definitely will help me improove distance and composure in my sessions. Thanks for great product!
